Installation problems

    I have problems with installing wp. I keep getting an Error connecting to database message but I’m sure my configuration is correct. I’ve checked, checked again, and rechecked the passwords and usernames, and everything seems correct. I have even changed password.

    The site is villasolsiden.no
    What am I doing wrong? Can you please help me?

    Hi,

    Is your user a DBA?
    Have you checked you are using the correct hostname? Not all hosts accept “localhost”

    If you are getting that error message something is wrong with your database connection details. If you are 100% sure that they are correct then the only other thing that could be wrong is that your web server cannot connect to the database server. This is something that you need to contact your hosting company about. They’ll be able to verify what you need to have in those fields.
