   I am in the last part of the install of the Word Press script on my IMac in order to setup a testing server so that I can construct my blog within a Dreamweaver web.

   I have received this message..."Safari can’t open the page “http://localhost/wp-admin/install.php” because Safari can’t connect to the server “localhost”. I have verified the location of all files related to MySQL e.g, Applications/MAMP/htdoc/WP-Admin and am unable to open the page to complete the final configuration process.

   Can anyone help.

   Using MAMP? What happens if you try //localhost:8888/ ?
