  • On some host they allow you to edit your Indexes (or index documents or Directory Indexes). For example with ixwebhosting you might Edit your Domain’s Indexes and add index.html index.htm index.php.

If you don’t have that option, put this in your .htaccess file

    DirectoryIndex index.html index.htm index.php

But I want it for all posts!? Am I get you wrong? Indexes and all that stuff.

momsrock – I searched with google and maybe this article will do a better job of explaining than I can do:
    http://www.javascriptkit.com/howto/htaccess6.shtml

After reading through the tutorial supplied it claims that the .htaccess is an apache thing. And that there are similar capabilities for NT. I believe I am using an NT server (Windows server 2003 Standard).

Is this fix still capable of working on my server???
