• I feel that this plugin is broken. I do not want to sounds rude or ungrateful for this plugin since it is in fact free and I realize a working professional does not necessarily have the time to keep up with it. But on the other hand I see that this plugin has not been updated since February and there are a lot of reports on his website since February where the plugin is a pain to install. I have been all over google and even on this forum, and I have seen many people with very similar problems.

I feel that when the plugin installs, it only HALF installs. Once installed you are required to paste a php template tag to receive the full advertised functionality of the plugin. Now of course there is nothing wrong with this, but the included documentation is very poorly worded on how to achieve this. Simply saying place the template tag in the soandso.php file inside the loops doesnt seem to cut it since I have done that with bad results. I have been placing this php template code everywhere that I know how to and I have had mixed results, none of which are the way it is supposed to act. I have a page where the short code is pasted and the form is displayed, the users are then redirected to another page where the image SHOULD be displayed in the comments once submitted. I have placed this code everywhere I can think of only to get broken results. I get the uploaded image replacing all of my comments, or breaking the form, or both. Now this could be because of a couple of reasons:

    1. I am inserting the php code in the incorrect place because my php knowledge isnt up to par

    2. There are issues with the latest version of this plugin and with the newest version of wordpress

But this ticket can be resolved by a better explanation of how to actually install it, and confirmation that this actually does work with the newest version of wordpress. There are enough posts on google, this forum, and on his plugins page that something needs to change. I would like to see a better written readme with simpler installation instructions, possibly with with examples. It also doesnt help that the demo of it on his site will let you fill the form out, submit an image, and then does nothing once submitted. This way you can’t see the results of how its supposed to appear in the comments.

Again thank you for the free plugin, but the way it currently is, for me, it does not upload content, only text comments. WordPress does that already. I will keep checking back to see if this is ever resolved… to which I will resolve this post and apply a 5 star rating. Right now I would give it a 1 star rating, so I will hold off with the rating until further notice.

    Thanks!
    Yawno Balee

Again I dont want to sound ungrateful.
