    Hi All,

I'm trying to do a clean install of WP 2.3.3 on my boyfriends domain, and it does nothing, just says "waiting for sonnymantronic.com"
    No error message, nothing.
I seem to recall having this problem in the past and someone fixed it for me as there were some files not ok in the WP files but I cannot remember what files and who fixed it.
Is there any way to fix this as my host cannot help me :-(

I uploaded an old version of WP and that is running ok, but I want the newest version, even upgrading is not working...
You can try for yourself on http://www.sonnymantronic.com/test/ That is where the new version is waiting to be installed.

    Thanks for any help.

    Kind regards,
    Caroline

Yes, that is the problem :-)
You can start but it goes nowhere...just sits there and does nothing.

It is hard to understand what you are doing. Your blog is installed and functions here, http://www.sonnymantronic.com/index.php

That is the old version of WP.
I tried first to install the newest version but could not get it to work, therefore I installed an older version wich worked ok. But I don't want 2.1 I want the 2.3.3 version. Upgrading the 2.1 does not work either.

I posted a link to the testing folder where you can see what happens when I try to install the 2.3.3 version.

You must be missing some files or you do not have the correct permissions set. For example, when trying to go to your default/themes/images folder I am denined access.
