You're going to need to post some specifics of what your problem is, what errors you're getting and so on.

It is not reading the php. It is a problem like the one listed <A HREF="http://wordpress.org/support/topic/109616?replies=5">here</A>

My host is not reading the php it is all coming out as code on my browser.

I need to know how to put the wordpress files into the specific folder that it needs to go into. I am using a mac with osx tiger and filezilla and cyberduck for ftp and firefox as my browser.

    Thanks Adam

Okay, then, your host needs to enable index.php as a viable index file maybe?

You can't say that on your server. You're being censored.

Did you check with them to make sure they have index.php enabled as a viable index file? Have you checked to be sure there's not an index.html file in the root folder or whichever folder wp is installed in?

Well, I can't see the faq page as it requires member login, but if you've uploaded wp you have an index.php page already. If you create another one, wp won't work period - it has to have the index page it comes with.

Did you check with your host tech support about the problem?

Following all step-by-step instructions has made my use of nearlyfreespeech problem-free.

Did you skip a step either from them in setting up the SQL tables or from WordPress in how to do a clean install?
