I'm trying to put a website together for my freelance work as a web and print designer, and i wanted to add a blog for news about projects and stuff. I downloaded wordpress, unzipped, and tossed it in the root folder of my site on my macbook. I started MAMP, pointed it to my site's folder, and configured the wp-config.php file and saved it (if it matters, i used some generated keys in the security section). Since i'm using MAMP i used localhost, username root, password root. I also made sure to create the MySQL database and made sure the names match. I opened the install.php file in firefox, and... well, i got lots of php code, saying there's an error.
