   First time installing WordPress and am disappointed that this is definitely NOT a 5-minute install as I was led to believe :(

   The exact error I am receiving is as follows:

   Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/yourpass/public_html/scotaliawebdesign/blog/wordpress/wp-includes/taxonomy.php on line 2022

   I'm not versed in php so not sure what could be causing this issue. Is it in fact something on the /taxonomy.php file?

   Please help in any way possible. Thanks

   I'm with you on the quick 5 hour (sorry, minute) install. I'm getting a parse error as well and not being a script expert haven't a clue. The instructions for editing the wp-config.php file are pretty vague! There are several fields they don't mention!
