   Hello community,
   I run mysql at a non-standard port. how can i can connect to the database through wordpress? i tried in the configuration DB_HOST like db.host.com:6666 but this doesn't work.
   it seems, that wordpress just works with 3306...

   all connections to the mysqlserver are fine, so this should be okay. i guess it's a wordpress failure.

   I was having the same problem when I tried to switch from port 3306 (with a mysql 4.0) to port 3307 (with mysql 4.1). It turns out, that my problem was a php mysql driver problem. Have you tried looking into that?
