As with most of the users having problems with wordpress, I am new. The problem I am having is that it connects to the database to bring up the first screen where it will install. I type in my blog title and email and uncheck the allow my blog to in the search engines check box. Then I press install WordPress. My browser starts loading the page or doing its thing and then brings me back to exactly where I started….The install wordpress page. No error messages, nothing. I checked the MySQL database to see if the tables were added and it has nothing. So can anyone give me some advise as to what is going on and how I can correct this situation…

    I thank you…

Try re-uploading all files & folders from a fresh download of WordPress.

I thank you for the answer but I already tried that and it still doesn’t work. Just an FYI, my operating system is Windows 7.
