I have been trying to install wordpress on my home network. Even though phpMyAdmin runs perfectly well this way, WordPress doesn't seem to. I want to be able to both see and login to a blog from more than 1 computer. Is there any way to do this?

I've been doing this on a mac network for some time - I just installed PHP, then enabled websharing from the system preferences (well disabled the firewall until I got it working) then installed wordpress - our computer's home page is http://networkipaddress/wp
Let us know how you get on.
Dan
After reading your post, I just tried different browsers. And by golly, I can get the link to work correctly in Safari but not Firefox. In Firefox, it seems to automatically fill in the address with the word "localhost", which doesn't work when I am looking for my wordpress blog from a different computer. In Safari, it is using the computername.local address just fine. Thanks!
