Install on Sub-Directory or Root of Website

    Hello.

    I am in the process of installing a WordPress blog into
    my website.

    I don’t know the advantages of installing it on either my
    sub-directory or my domain root.

    Is there an advantage to either way?

    If you’re planning on having some sort of main website at yourdomain.com with the blog as a separate entity, then install it in a subdirectory like yourdomain.com/blog/ or yourdomain.com/wordpress/ .

    If you’re planning on having the blog be your main website, then definitely install it in the root at yourdomain.com .
