   I have done the necessary steps to install multiple plugins...
   After I upload them via FTP, they are not showing up in the plugins area in the AdminCP.

   Yes, I read the readme's and did it correctly (as far as I know).

   Do a quick search on "nested folders". That may be relative to your circumstances.
