Upgraded through WordPress to version 3.1.1 and everything seemed to go smoothly then back to dash with the following error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp() in /home/theappsa/public_html/wp-blog-header.php on line 14
and here's the code from the that file:
[Code moderated as per the Forum Rules. Please use the pastebin]
With line 14 being "wp();"
Any Ideas?
Thanks, Richard
Your upgrade did not complete successfully.
Try:
- switching to the Twenty Ten theme by renaming your current theme's folder in wp-content/themes using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.
- resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.
- re-uploading all files & folders - except the wp-content folder - from a fresh download of WordPress.
- re-running the upgrade manually using wp-admin/upgrade.php.

Thank You! Up and running again.
Thanks Esmi,
I also had an issue - blank admin and blank blog - after auto upgrade to 3.1.1
1) Changed name of my current theme folder (this would have activated default theme (via FTP)
2) Logged back into dashboard - this forced an upgrade
3) Changed name of my current theme folder back to it's proper name.
4) That's it!
Saved me a full restore and lots of time !
Cheers,
Robert
