    I knew I was in trouble as soon as I saw “ease of installation. I am new to Worppress but not to computers. So I download. But then how do I install? Most, nay, all, software I use has a “run” tab, click on that and it offers “install”. So how where is the “install” tab?

    You need to upload the WordPress files and folders to your hosting account using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides. The installation is carried out online.

    Hi, Thanks, Trouble is my site was built with Front Page and now my provider does not recognise FP extensions.

    FTP has nothing to do with Frontpage. Please see the page at the link I posted above.

    Hi Esmi, i’ve uploaded the WordPress files and folders to my hosting account… then I am supposed to Open wp-admin/install.php in your browser (I assume web browser) but how do I do this? It automatically opens dreamweaver and gives me WordPress requires that your web server is running PHP… how do i resolve?
