   Hello,

   I'm trying to install a slider plugin at the top of my site, http://www.getyourfilmfix.com so I can showcase my most recent posts that way. Every plugin I've found has one thing in common and that's to insert its php code into, I believe, the index.php file for my theme.

   My question is, where exactly do I insert that code? Occasionally it says insert it where I want it to appear but I can't really read a php file that way.

   Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

   I do not use the easel theme, but based on a quick look, I think you want to insert the code into layout-head.php just after the second line:

   <div id="content-wrapper">

   Please note that this is just an educated guess without any knowledge of the plugin that you are trying to use.
