inserting images into wordpress theme

    I’m trying to turn most of the links on my wordpress template into images, including the link to WordPress. But I can’t seem to get images to load using the HTML tag <a href="http://www.wordpress.org"> <img src="images/wp-icon32.png"/></a>.

    I am trying to insert these into my footer specifically. Does wordpress not allow me to do this? Or is their a different way I should be going about it? Thanks and sorry if I sound like an idiot asking this question. But I’m a newbie.

    WP lets you do whatever you want, but the rules of the internet (html) will not allow you to use wrong path…

    Try to use ablsolute path.
