Inserting Identifier to subject line or body message (4 posts)

I love the Contact Form 7 function. However, I'd like to be able to add a prefix identifier to the subject line such as [ContactForm7] Subject:

That way, when I'm looking in my mailbox, I will know the mail came from my site, rather than elsewhere on the net. Any suggestions?

    Thanks!

    Bryen,

You can do it by just adding the prefix into the subject field.

Open Contact Form 7's admin page (Options - Contact Form 7),

By default, the mail subject line is:

    [your-subject]

    Change this line to:

This is from Contact Form 7: [your-subject]

    And press Save.
