• I love the Contact Form 7 function. However, I’d like to be able to add a prefix identifier to the subject line such as [ContactForm7] Subject:

That way, when I’m looking in my mailbox, I will know the mail came from my site, rather than elsewhere on the net. Any suggestions?

    Thanks!

  • Bryen,

You can do it by just adding the prefix into the subject field.

Open Contact Form 7’s admin page (OptionsContact Form 7),

By default, the mail subject line is:

    [your-subject]

    Change this line to:

This is from Contact Form 7: [your-subject]

    And press Save.

Should think about including this question in FAQ or Readme ?

Awesome YannC, just installed this plugin and you asked the question I needed to have answered. Thanks to taka for answering it as well.
