Insert PHP from custom field in post (1 post)

    Hey all,

On our blog here at OurStage use the custom fields to implement some custom code in the loop to display the text at the bottom of a post in a block (looks like a playlist: http://blog.ourstage.com/2009/04/07/top-10-march-2009-winners/).

Currently, it just puts it at the bottom of a post. I'm trying to figure out a way our staff can put a code where they want it in the post, something like <!-- playlist --> and the playlist will show up.

I've looked into the php plugins but they all require you to have the code in the post, which I would like to avoid. I just found the "Post Layout" plug (http://www.satollo.com/english/wordpress/post-layout) Which does sort of what we need, inserts the code where you place a <!-- more -->. But the point of this is so we don't have to be tethered to something like the more...

Is there anyway to define a custom <!-- something here --> to execute php? Or something similar?

Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks!
