hi - I am using wp easy uploader (http://chrisjean.com/wordpress-plugins/wp-easy-uploader/) to upload pdfs into folders on the wordpress server. It works great! But now, when I am writing a post or a page, how do I insert a link to any one of these pdfs? I can not recall their locations and file names! Is there a plug in or tool to help me browse folders on my server and insert links to files there? I tried wp-list files (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-list-files/) but that did not even show up in my dashboard to use after I activated it. Thoughts?! THANKS! Lisa

If I am reading the plugin documentation correctly, from the readme.txt:

    = Current Features =

    * Upload any type of file to either the standard Uploads directory (just as images do when you are creating posts and pages) or to a path of your choosing.
    * Manual paths are automatically created if they don't exist.

..unless you selected a different upload path from the plugin setup page intentionally, it appears that the uploaded files will land in the same path as your wordpress uploads. /wp-content/uploads - followed by whatever structure you have defined in your wordpress settings. I think year and month are the defaults.

The quickest and easiest ( most informative ) way to browse your own web space is with an ftp client or the file manager in your hosts control panel. It's just like using explorer on a Windows desktop to view your files and folders on a PC.

[edit] I just tested this plugin. Very nice. It does indeed drop the files in your default uploads path. It also gives you the URI to the file after you upload it. So I guess if you don't take note of it then, you have to browse your uploads folder for it later.

Thanks Clayton! That is exactly my understanding of the current process. Unfortunately I did not take note of the urls as I uploaded them, so Ill have to browse via the host control panel.
I was really looking/hoping for a plugin that adds the ability to insert a link to one of the files into a post or page via the toolbar in wordpress. Just like the insert picture, audio, video and media buttons.
