[resolved] Insert Image with IE (4 posts)

Insert Image on FireFox works find. When I want to upload a file I drag and drop the file from my computer to the designated area in TablePress.

Using IE 9 on a client's computer does not work. After clicking on the desired cell IE hangs up. It seems to be waiting for something. IE works on my computer but it does NOT use the drag/drop approach for uploading files. This seems strange how there is a totally different interface depending on the browser.

I'm thinking this is a security issue. Any idea how to fix this?

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

First of all, don't worry, this is not a security issue! It's just the result of different browser behavior. That's why you see different interfaces, too.

I recommend to switch to a different browser than IE, and not use the drag/drop method, but the method where you select the images from the disk.

    Regards,
    Tobias

I solved the problem with IE. In IE 9.0 go to Tools -> Internet Options -> Security Tab -> click Custom Level... button. Then scroll way down to Display mixed content and select the Enable radio button.

After clicking OK, restart IE and you will than be able to upload images.
