    i try to modify the default wp1.5 kubrick theme. my idea is to have a little image before the links in the navigation. i did it like this:

    .entry ul li:before, #sidebar ul ul li:before {
    content: url(images/leaf_menu_small.gif);
    }

    the problem is - it is only shown in firefox..(i know nothing new ;-)) but not in microsoft ie. can anybody tell me how to fix it - maybe it is only possible if i include the image via html - but how?

    The li bullet is not changeable in IE. In the Kubrick CSS template, lines 360-363 state this.

    Right for staying with everything Kubrick. The Kubrick design uses a "character" as the list icon instead of a graphic. Using graphics are very common and work across all browsers. Check the codex for information on Lists at http://codex.wordpress.org/Styling_lists_with_CSS

    In addition to the li bullet not showing up, IE has no support for the :before or :after pseudo-elements either.
