@lensv: We’ve had a few reports that the pop-up for adding galleries to a page is blank. We’ve fixed a couple sources of this problem in our latest beta. You can upload that manually, or wait for the fixes that will be in the official release probably on Monday.

There are a few known conflicts that cause this. If you have MapPress or Siloloquey installed, can you try momentarily deactivating them to see if that resolves the problem?

    Thanks.

    Hi there,

I Have exactly the same problem.
Uploaded the Beta, but no result :/
Somehow I can’t open my error console when the popup is open, so can’t look for the problem myself.

Hope this problem can me resolved soon, because I love this plugin, using it for a few years now and it would be a big bummer if I have to find something new :/

Nope, I just upgraded to 2.0.11 but the blank window remains when using the Nextgen button to insert images on a page 🙁

Please try to find a quick fix for this issue!

Hey all – if this is still happening it’s very high priority and we’ll put it near the top of the list. And given that at least two of you are on 2.0.11 and seeing this, I’d suspect there’s something else going on.

If you are having this issue, can you please consider submitting a bug report with WordPress and FTP login credentials so we can see what’s going on and resolve this for you?

By the way, two other thoughts here:

First, can you try going to Settigns > Permalinks and if you are using Default permalinks, try choosing another option like Postname?

Second, we’ve seen a couple plugin conflicts trigger this. If you have Sililoquy or MapPress installed, please try deactivating those. If you are feeling compelled, you might also try deactivating all other plugins momentarily just long enough to see if the issue goes away. If so, it’s another plugin conflict and we’d just need to identify the culprit.

    Thanks.

A thought just hit me… In my case I’m having a non standard character (ö) in the domain name. Could that be a trigger to this error?

@lensv: I wouldn’t think so. I’d still try the other steps above and if you’re having the issue, consider submitting the bug report. Thanks.

Thing is that if I change the permalink to something else than the default setting I get a 404 message instead of the blank window when using the button. Any ideas why?

I filed a bug report yesterday, but I’ve got no verification that you have received it.

I hope that NextGen realises that this is a quite critical problem…

Still no response from the “bug department” 🙁

Now I have deactivated every single plugin in WP and I have tested the button from several different computers in IE, Chrome and Safari, but still the problem remains… Please take this seriously and help us!!!

May I humbly suggest that you at least give it a couple more days before you bump up your topic…? In case you haven’t notice the NGG folk have been pretty busy lately. 😉

Sorry! Of course I can give it a couple of days. At least if I get some kind of response from the responsible team…

I just want to inform you that 2.0.14 doesn’t fix this issue either 🙁

yeah, I have to use shortcode, the ‘insert’ gallery icon opens up weird, there is not actual insert button. The grey overcast on posted images is also not fixed in 2.0.14
