input html code being added to posts

    I administer a multisite installation.

    One of the users, when he creates or edits a post it always leaves this line of html at the bottom
    <input id="macaddress" type="hidden" value="" />

    It does it each time he edits, so sometimes there may be several of these lines at the bottom of a post. I’ve asked him about it but he doesn’t have a clue. He uses Firefox. Sometimes he cuts and pastes content from Word, but mostly not.

    It does not happen with other users.

    Any idea what causes this and if it has any harm?
