[resolved] input fields on llogin and registration form not displayed (3 posts)

I recently installed wp-members and I'm still working out the kinks. I'm fairly new to working with WordPress, but not web design or css.
For whatever reason I cannot figure out, a couple of fields are not displaying.

On the sidebar login form, the Username input field is set to display: none. Obviously this prevents anyone who is registered from logging in.

On the user registration page, the required input field for 'Choose a Username', is also set to display: none. Since this is required, no one can register either. I tested it, and just get the 'field is required' message and the field still isn't displayed.

I've dug around in the settings to see if there would be any reason for these input fields to be set to not display, it doesn't make a lot of sense. All other fields are there, including the new ones I added.

Any ideas?? Am I missing something?
    Thanks!!

When you say the input fields are set to "display: none" you're talking CSS, right? There is no option to not display these elements via the plugin's settings as they are required.

    Correct :)

There is no option to not display these elements via the plugin's settings as they are required.

That's why I thought it was strange. Everything in the settings for the site is set to allow registration, so I've no idea why that would be disabled that way. The guy who installed WP in the first place, the one I inherited this from, has no CSS knowledge. Could be it was left over in the theme I guess.

I went in and changed the CSS so it displays, so everything works now.

    Thanks!
