   the margins/padding to get less space above and beneath the pages/posts?

   Also when I chamge the sidebar to white background, it doesn`t gp all the way down.

   Yes.
   I`m not asking before trying!
   I`ve tried adjusting everthing related to post margins and so on.
   But I`ll keep on trying!!

   As I can see in your site paddings are ok, but if you want to change...
   Dashboard > Current Theme Options > Show tags on posts, you can uncheck it if you want less space between posts (as I saw you don't write tags anyway ^^)
   Second thing you can do is go to style.css and find
   

   .post {
   	padding-bottom:5px !important;
   	padding-bottom:15px;
   }

   Line 360-363 by default.
   So backup your style.css and try making changes to these options
   --
   I don't know exactly about the sidebar, but I think you should checkout style.css and sidesep.gif

   p.s use mozilla with addon firebug It will be much easier to work ;)
