   Hello,

   I'm wondering if there is a way to make a part of a post "invisible" to the results given out by "the_excerpt" function? Is there some "invisible" tag out there?

   If this is sounds too weird, I can explain more.

   You could try looking at some of the spoiler plugins but I'm not sure if they will work with the_excerpt. alternatively, you could handcraft your own excerpts using the Optional Excerpt field in every Edit/Add Post/Page.
