Initial page loading slow

    My site is http://www.youthoutpost.org. I used the easy install at Dreamhost to load wordpress. I bought the theme Wisdom of Life by Theme Bazaar and activated it. Unfortunately my site takes forever to load (30 seconds or more). Once it loads, you can navigate around at normal speed. I have tried simple fixes (deactivated plugins, installed WP Super Cache) but nothing is working. Can anyone help me diagnose this problem?
