I'm trying to set up an account & I got this (below) from the installer robot.
It just takes me to a godaddy advertising page. Any thoughts how to get up an running?

The problem is that that domain is still just parked with goDaddy.
Where is the installer robot? What URL did you get those instructions from?

I've got exactly the same problem. I purchased my domain from godaddy and hosting from HostGator, and installed WordPress through Fantastico. I keep getting the same godaddy screen. I can see the WordPress files in my ftp client but I can't do anything with them.
Any help would be very appreciated.

Well, maybe this will help, I just talked to a HostGator technician. I'm a complete "noob" at hosting and domains so apparently I skipped a very important step: providing my GoDaddy domain with the HostGator's nameservers. After this, he told me I should wait up to 48 hours for the website propagation. Let's see what will happen next...

48 hours is the longest it can possibly take (as long as nothing went wrong). You should see the results pretty quickly, depending on your ISP.
