I am using Platform 1.2.5 by Pagelines. Whenever I change plain text which has initial caps to italics, it displays with no caps. It looks fine on the Edit Page, but shows no capitalization on the actual webpage (all viewed in Chrome).
Is this a bug? Something I'm missing? Peculiar to the Platform template?

It could be a style in your css. Have you looked in there for something like
em {}
If you can provide a link to your site, I can have a peek.

I have now tried other templates, which do not show the same behavior. They also do not have the same level of rich text formatting - perhaps some templates require a plug-in for rich text input?
I looked for CSS pages - there are many! How do I narrow down the list?

Sorry! That was just a comment! The troublesome text is the following two phrases:
an integrative and
natural approach to
well-being
experience healing touch and transformation!
In the style sheet version 1.2.5 - 060211203418
I see this:
h1 em, h2 em, h3 em, h4 em, h5 em, h6 em, #nav em{text-transform: lowercase;font-style:italic;}
Change that to:
h1 em, h2 em, h3 em, h4 em, h5 em, h6 em, #nav em{font-style:italic;}
Hopefully that's the right style sheet... This theme looks overly complicated.
