    I installed the jetpack plugin just for the infinite scroll feature on my blog, but when i activated the infinit scroll feature in jetpack and added this code to my themes function.php it still doesnt work.

    add_theme_support( 'infinite-scroll', array(
        'container' => 'content',
        'footer' => 'page',
    ) );

    Does anyone know how i can get the infinite scroll to work on my blog? The url is: http://gifsec.com/

    Thank you

    My guess is because your container actually has an ID of "container", not "content". Change it to this and try:

    add_theme_support( 'infinite-scroll', array(
        'container' => 'container',
        'footer' => 'page',
    ) );

    Hi!

    i just added the following code that you gave but it didnt work either. any other ideas on why the infinite scroll doent work?

    Code used in function.php

    add_theme_support( 'infinite-scroll', array(
        'container' => 'container',
        'footer' => 'page',
    ) );

    do i need to add anything to index.php?

    I suspect the issue may be with the "render" argument; have a look at it on the support doc, and then tell me if your theme uses content.php:

    Hi!

    I checked the themes folder and couldnt find any files with the name content.php. I have a screenshot of the files here: http://gifsec.com/files/MEME-543.jpg

    just checked the link, but it seems way to advanced for me to fix. If i had the right code im able to copy and paste it on the php files, but im not able to edit and add stuff to the php code since i have no knowledge of it

    Hi,

    Well, this requires quite a bit of modification to your theme. You might be best hiring a local WordPress developer to help you modify the theme and improve it (for example, I noticed that it's using XHTML 1.0 Transitional; that's not bad per se but is not what a modern theme would use).
