• Let me first say I love this plugin. It took a bit of hunting but I finally found a simple yet intuitive plugin for what I needed!

I am getting a but confused on the single events pages however. The way that they come up have a grayed out format that is hard to see with my theme. I have no clue how to change the font color of this. I also would like to change some of the data that is displayed on these individual pages. I would like to show some of the custom categories that I created as well as the Title, etc. Unfortunate looking at php for me is a whole different language. I have managed my way around some html stuff but php is much to far beyond what I can do. Maybe there are pre made templates I can choose from?!

Lastly, our organization would like to use the category feature, but when you click on a category everything seems to left justify with not enough margin/padding. Is there a way I can fix this?

    Thank you very much!

I found out that the color is controlled by the theme. This is fixed for me now! But as for fields and the php part I am LOST.

Also I would like to move the creator, date created and edit link to below the information. How can I move this block of information. I would like it moved to the bottom for all posts, not just the events.

    Great, thanks :).

And I’m glad you’ve sorted the colouring of the event details.

By default most themes won’t have a single-event.php template, so the plug-in uses single.php and adds the event details to the top of the event content. (Which is why it appears below the author details in your theme).

Changing what appears would just involve copying event-meta-event-single.php to your theme and editing that.

Moving the author details (for all posts) would involve editing single.php and moving the appropriate bit below the call to the_content(). I’m afraid all this advice is ‘blind’ as can’t offer any specific advice without seeing the theme.

Regarding the category page, the default template doesn’t appear to work well with your theme. The easiest way is to copy and archive.php as taxonomy-event-category.php in your theme and edit it as desired to include event details. More detailed information can be found here: http://wp-event-organiser.com/documentation/editing-the-templates/

It will involve editing the templates (which are written in php), however I am available for freelance work (feel free to get in touch via wp-event-organiser.com/contact).
