index.php – set of thumbnails instead of a vertical list

    Hi guys!

    Suppose i want to see my posts not as a vertical list of topics. I need to be able to arrange them like thumbnails with captions. Let’s say, 3 columns of 50×50 pictures, each is the link to a post, 5 rows a page. More posts we have – go to the next page.

    Does anybody know any kind of a plugin fot that? Maybe something close. just to convert latest posts to multicolumn image set.

    This would be handled by your theme – not a plugin.

    you mean, that in the loop i should manually design this layout? With pagination and so on? It is possible, but will involve a great deal of work.
    There must be some solution, when posts are substituted with their feature images, lets say.

    I use twenty eleven theme.

    Yep. 🙂 There’s no plugin that can handle this sort of thing cross-theme that I know of.

    There are quite a few twenty eleven child themes available now. Have you tried looking to see if any of these suit your needs?
