index.html is added on my links. Can't see admin or login page

Hi all,
While I try to see admin and login page, it redirects to 404 error message. Found index.html is added to all my links.
Eg: http://etechtricks.com/contact-us/index.html
http://etechtricks.com/category/laptops/index.htmlMy theme also looks broken. Anyone please help me…:(

But this line was already present in header file. Till yesterday (10PM IST)my site works fine. After that I didn’t change anything in my site. Could you please investigate more on this….could you paste your htacess code

Backup your website, disable your plugins or if you have access to your ftp rename your plugins folder to plugins-old

How to change theme? login page is not working. How to do as admin?
if you have access to ftp rename your current theme folder to theme-old and it should be able to pick default theme twentyeleven (if you havnt deleted it and it is still in your theme directory) but to the looks of it, i would suggest make a new directory install a fresh copy of your WordPress, install your theme (which you are currently using) and see if this is still happening
IMP: do backup your current database as well.

did you rename on your server or on your local as it should not pick your old theme if the folder is not there

I renamed “themes” to “themes-old” in the server. But its amazing how it can access the theme folder?
