• Hi,

Today I did an auto update on http://www.wezup.info. Afterwards I got some errors and was advised to do a manual update as described here: http://codex.wordpress.org/Updating_WordPress

Website displays ok (except for some plugins I need to activate), but when I login I get to a page that only shows:
    Index of /wordpress/wp-admin

[ICO] Name Last modified Size Description
    [DIR] Parent Directory –
    [DIR] css/ 21-Jan-2014 09:32 –

Not sure how to fix this 🙁 It uses Twenty Eleven + Child Theme. If I would do a complete clean fresh install and add the images folder, config, child theme and plugins from my backup, would that do the trick?

The site has so much content on it that I am really afraid to delete that, no way to manually add it all again.

    Thanks!

  • Try:
    – switching to the default theme by renaming your current theme’s folder inside wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder and the wp-config.php & root .htaccess files – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.

    – running the upgrade manually via wp-admin/upgrade.php
