   I've searched but it seems people's problems are more complex than mine and their solutions did not help.

   Basically I bought a domain name, http://www.treebeats.com, and installed wordpress on free 000webhost. For some reason, when I visit the site it always displays the Index and makes me click on the /wordpress directory before I can see the template. How can I fix it so it automatically loads the template when I visit the site? I tried modifying the .htaccess in the FTP but that did not help. I fear I'm making a very noob mistake, thx in advance..

   edit: I did try directing the site/wordpress address settings to fix this but that did not help.

   After a whole day with this same problem I have found the solution for the index of/ problem.
