Indent Child Pages

Hi, i can’t figure out how to indent the child pages on the admin “all pages” panel (edit.php).

child pages are displayed with a leading “-” but are not really indented, which gets annoying if you have a lot of pages.

i’d like to give child pages a left margin of let’s say 50px, so that they are visually indented.

i know the pages have level-0 and level-1 classes, but i couldn’t get my css code to affect them. How can i make them indented?

and while we’re at it: i’d like to get rid of the alternating row colors and give parent and child pages different colors, to even more improve the distincion of parent and child pages.

can you provide me with a solution?
