Increasing SH-Autolink functionality to include sidebar terms?

    I am currently running the plugin, sh-autolink (http://www.rockschtar.de/wp-plugin-sh-autolink/) which automatically links predefined words to a specific URI. The functionality however is limited to posts and pages. Has anyone had any experience, or know a code snippet that can be added to the plugin which would add this functionality to incorporate sidebar content ?
