I’ve got a self-hosted blog, http://peterfergusonart.com and it cacked out somewhere on the auto update – I couldn’t log in at all without running a force update script. That didn’t fix everything, though – I can’t see any of the dashboard modules and I can’t edit my posts.

My first step was to disable all plugins – same thing. I can’t revert to a default WP theme because I can’t access that module since no modules are displaying in my dash.

Here’s a screenshot of the dashboard:

I went through all the steps described here: http://www.owingmoneysucks.com/2008/11/28/how-to-reinstall-wordpress-safely/
    but still no dashboard.

The site itself looks fine from a client perspective but I’m not seeing any of the CMS modules.

    Any advice?

I ended up wiping the DB and HTML & rebuilding the site from scratch, thanks for nothing 😉

I suspect the underlying problem was conflicts with the theme and at least one plugin after the update, but we shall never know.
