Creating new fieldtypes

    Hi!

    I would like to add INPUT type=”tel”, type=”url” & type=”email” to my fields instead of just “text” as it makes the fields behave correctly on iPhone and other smartphones. Is there a way to add fieldtypes without changing the original files (hazzle when plugin updates) or could some setting be added for editing the type of a field under Advanced?
