Including a static page? (4 posts)

    Hey :)

I want to include some static pages on my blog, which I can link to in my menu. Something like "about this blog", "articles" and "gallery". These need to be static pages (not blog-posts), and if possible there shoul be no dates and comment-form on them. Still it would be ideal if they appear on the page like a normal post, with the menu, calendar an header etc around it.
I want to make these pages locally on my pc an upload them via ftp.

Is this possible at all? I don't know if my english is good enough to explain this sufficiently, but I hope you get my point(?)

I'd really appreciate any help on this :)

if you are using Wp 1.5 you can create pages inside of WP that are not part of the WP loop functions and then you can create static pages... hope this helps

The link did it for me, thanks a bunch!

I'm running wp 1.2.2 so I guess the latter is no option for me, thanks for replying though :)
