In Mobile An "Â" appearing before each double space.

This problem has been happening only in our mobile theme based upon Twenty-Eleven

The odd character is appearing after a period with double spaces.
We are using Websitez plugin to identify and call up alternate mobile theme.
The solution I saw was for blog pages but not for post pages here:

<meta http-equiv=”Content-Type” content=”<?php bloginfo(‘html_type’); ?>; charset=<?php bloginfo(‘charset’); ?>” />To the head of the page calling blog content and it fixed the problem.
