    Okay I see lots of threads on duplicate content, but not on my exact issue;

    When I did a search for my blog name to see how its been indexing, a link to a post (about Soundgarden) shows up twice. Same post date and everything.

    I'm a bit worried about the duplicate content issue. I only posted this link once, and it's only showed a duplicate today (post was a few months back). Any idea how to fix or why this is happening in the 1st place?

    Here's the search link:
    http://www.google.com/search?client=safari&rls=en&q=smells+like+infinite+sadness&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8

    Can I just delete? It's an old post and I'm not attached to it (but it does have a back link)? Or redirect? Or tell webmaster tools to ignore?

    I recently submitted a new site map and wonder if that might have anything to do with it? I was having issues with Attracta pre-installed on hostgator and it was blocking my site map (as I understood it) so I deleted their robot txt and resubmitted my XML.

    I've about given myself an ulcer over this and trying to setup all my SEO and can no longer think straight, so any help would be most appreciated.

    (I also have a screenshot if it doesn't duplicate, but not sure how to upload? Sorry this is my first thread).

    Thanks!

    Michael

    It was resolved but now a new one is duplicating. Crickets....Seriously I've looked everywhere in google search and wordpress.org search and I don't see this issue, so a tad frustrating.

    Help. Please. Thanks :)
