• Since sorting out WPBook I have got myself in a muddle with my site.

I think that WPBook doesn’t like it if the blog page is not the home page. My site structure was to have my blog on two pages using categories to separate blog posts and poem posts. My home page was a static page. When I had WPBook use pictopoetry/blog/ as the canvas page it made the links not work. Using the settings in the dashboard to have the home page as the index page sorts that out but it has mucked up my web site and I am not sure how to fix it.

In my site the menus work but if you just go straight to http://www.pictopoetry.co.uk it presents a badly structured blog archive.

It’s probably obvious that I am not a coder but I can just about work out what a PHP page might be about. I established the structure of my site 18 months ago and I’m struggling to work out what I did. But the fix I implemented to incorporate WPBook is forcing me to rethink the site structure.

I hope I have explained myself here and I know this isn’t realy a problem with WPBook but if anyone has any ideas how I can get around this it would be terrific.

    Thanks

    Martin

It would be great if someone could look at my original post and take pity on me but to rephrase the question differently:

Is it always best to have your home page as a blog to fully integrate with FB using WPBook?

If not, how do you have a different (non-blog) home page and still have WPBook play ball?

    Thanks
