Improve visibility of search form input field on forum

In the header of the forum sits a search form input field.
The input field is the same color as the header, making it very difficult to see. The color of the placeholder is very dark indeed.

This makes it difficult to work with it.
Would you please increase visibility by using colors that differ a bit more from their surroundings.

PS. You might as a result make it easier to find answers; and thereby reducing the number of questions repeated over and over… 🙂 You never know.
