I'm moving my domain to a new hosting company. In the process, I'm changing my blog from http://www.thelifeofbrian.info/blog to blog.thelifeofbrian.info. I attempated a database export/import and that royally screwed things up, so now I've done a WXR export/import. This seems to have worked, except that I'm missing posts from June 18 to yesterday. I opened the WXR file and can see that the posts are there. Help! How can I get the remaining posts imported?

The "new" blog I'm setting up can be accessed at http://74.220.215.68/~lookfou1/blog.thelifeofbrian.info right now.

Ok I still don't know why it happened, but I worked around it. I opened the xml file and manually hacked out the <item>...</item> entries that had already been imported, then did it again. Now they're all there.
i'm trying to move the posts from hereto my new site at http://www.anothersamchan.com
how exactly did u move the xml for only one post manually? waht was the coding needed?
i've been at this for hours, its driving me crazy!
on a side note, the alignment of my picture moving is also all wrong but i think that may have more to do with the theme than anything. it doesn's seem to match the visual html
