When I went to import my wordpress.com blog to my wordpress.org blog this message came up:
Before you can upload your import file, you will need to fix the following error:
Unable to create directory D:\Hosting\5329858\html/wp-content/uploads/2010/01. Is its parent directory writable by the server?
What does this mean?
I am a beginner. But it looks to me like a permissions problem.
I think one way to fix it would be to access the folders of your blog through an ftp program. (I guess the folders of Content or Upload need broader permissions) Usually you can change the permissions through the ftp program.
