   Can I upload photos from my computer to my blog easily? And how do I place the photos exactly where I want?

   You can do this in your write page. Near the bottom there is an Upload option that allows you to browse to a file. Browse to your picture, click upload, choose if you want to display the thumbnail or full size, and click send to editor. It will place it where your cursor left off. You can resize or move the picture.
   Hope this helps.

   I use Windows Live Writer now though, it is a bit easier to insert pictures.
