   I have some existing html pages that i would like to import into my new wordpress hosted site. Having searched the forum for the last hour the topic has been mentioned a number of times but I have not been able to find an answer.

   Some of the html pages have a number of tables organising the information.

   If any documentation exists on this please point me in the right direction.

   There is no simple answer I'm afraid because HTML and WordPress are two fundamentally different things. HTML is static pages which contain both formating info and content. WordPress is a dynamic system where the content and the formating are separate. You will have to set up your WP site and then create a page and then copy the text from your old page into the new one.
