I have a website. It is a complete website with all photos and information that I want on it. I like the template/theme/layout and color scheme of the website. Is there any way to download/import these things INTO wordpress as a complete unit? The problem with the original website is that it does not display correctly on all computers and screens. This is why I have come to WordPress. We are computer neophytes and I’ve researched all I can in the forums, but to no avail. Either the technical jargon makes me cross-eyed, or the links no longer work, or they’re talking about things that are not the problem I have. The site was built on Windows Vista with Thunderbird using the hosts site builder, NewTec. Can you help me at all? Is what I want even possible? Thanks!

Great. But what it is - plain html, php or other CMS ?

Surely. Depending on your current setup it can be semi-automated or manual.

    Probably its a HTML website.

Look, its difficult to tell or guess what kind of website you have right now. Method depends on your site's type. Please provide your website's url.

It seems to be a HTML website. Follow my guide :
    http://thecustomizewindows.com/2012/07/convert-old-html-php-website-to-wordpress-without-change-in-url/

There will be no change in URLs.

Before that, know about WordPress itself :

    http://codex.wordpress.org/Main_Page

If you can not do yourself, you can hire some freelancer :

    http://jobs.wordpress.net/

I as a WordPress user or WordPress themselves has no official paid service. They are freelancers, so there is some risks, bargaining etc.

Thanks guys, as far as I'm concerned the topic can be considered resolved... I've never been much of a computer person despite being in the age bracket that are stereotypically the "computer generation" or whatever. So, I've found someone else who will import the website to wordpress and I'll stick to what I know best: horses and sailing! Thank you for the responses, I appreciated them!
